You see, I had told you that I refused to be vaccinated, expressing my distrust in a concoction whose production had been so rapid.<\/span><\/p>\n

Not to mention that I was articulating “anti-scientific” theories, such as that it doesn’t stop transmission, so no herd immunity will be created; that it offers no substantial protection to those who have gotten it; and that it was based on cellular structures from aborted fetuses.<\/span><\/p>\n

I also claimed that it creates a series of side effects. Thromboses, myocarditis, paralysis, facial paralysis, shingles, and so many other things. I spoke of certain scientists who expressed, at the very least, reservations. A Montagnier, a Bagdhi, a Gkakis, and a few others.<\/span><\/p>\n

You didn’t see any of this on any channel, or at least on any of the sites you follow. If it existed, no, someone would have said something.<\/span><\/p>\n

I had also pointed out to you what a certain Father Savvas Achilleos and a Kandiotes had said years before, who had prophesied the epidemic and warned about the vaccines. I also spoke of certain elders from Mount Athos, an Euthymios and a Parthenios, and a bishop from Cyprus who were saying the same things.<\/span><\/p>\n

You wondered where I was finding all this. And you were suspicious, yes, I could see it in your eyes, about my mental health, or at least about my vivid imagination and my persistence.<\/span><\/p>\n

To you, all this meant nothing. After all, all the doctors were coming out on so many shows every day and shouting: “Get it, to be safe. Maybe the elderly are more at risk, but you never know how your body will react to a new virus. Get it so you don’t get infected, or at least if you do get infected, you’ll have a mild case and not get sick and need a hospital and a ventilator.”<\/span><\/p>\n

So, you wanted to feel safe and to be on the right side of history. Not with the “sprayed,” unvaccinated nutcases.<\/span><\/p>\n

That’s why when you saw me from afar, you would pretend you hadn’t seen me, you would turn your back and quicken your step to get away.<\/span><\/p>\n

Perhaps, on the other hand, you were afraid that you might be in danger of catching covid from me. The doctors said that whoever got the vaccine was okay, but we should be a little careful, you must have thought.<\/span><\/p>\n

Of course, how is it possible for someone who has had the “divine” concoction that protects, saves, and can even send you to paradise, to be in danger from someone who hasn’t had it, as many of you claimed? I personally never understood it. But that’s another story.<\/span><\/p>\n

On the other hand, maybe you didn’t want to be seen talking to me, because someone might characterize you negatively. The unvaccinated had to remain outside of social gatherings, at least until they came to their senses and gave in. After all, it wasn’t possible for them to be dynamiting the effort for herd immunity, nor to be putting the lives of others at risk.<\/span><\/p>\n

From my side, I could see your reactions even from a distance, so I didn’t attempt to approach you. It was pointless, anyway. You believed the concoction was a gift from God, and I, that it was a gift from the devil. An abyss between us.<\/span><\/p>\n

Two years passed. We are constantly learning about sudden deaths, thromboses, strokes, myocarditis, and cancers. A wall of immunity was never created; the vaccinated got infected two and three times each, while the hospitals and ICUs filled with the vaccinated with three, four, and five doses. Many of them, unfortunately, died…<\/span><\/p>\n

However, last night we met again. I don’t know why, but this time you reacted differently. You greeted me cheerfully, calling me by my name, and you stopped, waiting for my greeting in return.<\/span><\/p>\n

But what happened next, you didn’t expect. I just continued on my way normally, without even looking at you, without even showing that I had heard you or seen you.<\/span><\/p>\n

You called out again two or three times. My reaction remained the same. I walked on without even looking back.<\/span><\/p>\n

I know you’re puzzled, that you’re perhaps angry. That you’re wondering, why. But, you don’t need to wonder. Do you think we have anything to say to each other, or even to have, that I want? You must have enormous pride to think that I would forget and act as if nothing had happened.<\/span><\/p>\n

And not because I hate you, or want to get revenge. No, my good man. Yes, your behavior all this time hurt me. But I hold no grudge against you. In reality, I have forgiven you, perhaps even from the very first moment.<\/span><\/p>\n

Because you are a victim of your fear, of the brainwashing you were fed, and of your refusal to look a little deeper. And because, I know how much danger you are in… The truth is, that in reality, I’m done with all those who sowed this discord.<\/span><\/p>\n

From you, I kept my distance and will keep my distance for one reason: people rarely change. In the next narrative, you will again feel the need to be on the right side of history. You will again be informed by the same media. You will again feel the need to belong to the great category of the “un-sprayed” (the “sensible” ones). You will behave the same way again. So let me protect myself, since there is nothing I can do for you.<\/span><\/p>\n

I will continue to pray. For you and for me. May God forgive us both…<\/span><\/p>\n
