For Katerina<\/span><\/p>\n

She leaned over him and kissed him on the lips. It was a fierce, hungry kiss that sent a shiver down his spine.<\/span><\/p>\n

As her hands impatiently unbuttoned his shirt, her mouth traced his neck and chest. She had wanted him for so long.<\/span><\/p>\n

Tonight, he was finally hers. Completely hers. For one night, one moment, in this lifetime. She knew there would be no other.<\/span><\/p>\n

They were both married, and she had no intention of destroying her family, losing her money, her status, or the life she had built. But this chance\u2014she would not let it slip away.<\/span><\/p>\n

In that moment, nothing else mattered. Not her husband, not her children, not even her poor mother who knew exactly where she was and why, and who was quietly wasting away with worry. None of it touched her. A few minutes later, they were both naked.<\/span><\/p>\n

She wrapped her legs around his waist and straddled him. She felt him hard against her and took him inside her without hesitation.<\/span><\/p>\n

She began to move wildly, almost desperately. If this was going to be only once, she would live it with everything she had\u2014body and soul.<\/span><\/p>\n

He could feel the fire burning inside her. He had desired her for years, but he had never imagined this intensity. He let himself be consumed by her.<\/span><\/p>\n

Their bodies rolled from the couch onto the carpet. When she climbed on top of him again, she locked her legs even tighter around him.<\/span><\/p>\n

If her husband had ever made her feel even a fraction of what she was feeling now, she could have lived the rest of her life content.<\/span><\/p>\n

But he was always so measured, so restrained, as if he were incapable of real passion.<\/span><\/p>\n

She, on the other hand, was a woman overflowing with desire\u2014so fierce and deep it could rarely be satisfied. She had carried it inside her for years, like a volcano. Tonight, it finally erupted.<\/span><\/p>\n

She moved faster, harder. Her passion swept him away. He surrendered completely. His release came violently, mixing with hers. She let out a guttural cry.<\/span><\/p>\n

Then she loosened her grip, slid off him, and lay beside him. Though her face remained almost expressionless, her body was finally at peace.<\/span><\/p>\n

She lit a cigarette and moved to the edge of the carpet. Her heart was still racing. She needed all her strength to appear indifferent.<\/span><\/p>\n

This woman\u2014Katerina\u2014master of herself, now fulfilled, had taken exactly what she wanted from him.<\/span><\/p>\n

He tried to pull her close, to embrace her. Instead, she turned her back, stood up, and began to dress.<\/span><\/p>\n

When she walked out of his door, closing it quietly behind her and leaving him stunned, she had already decided to erase him from her mind. What had happened, had happened. It was time to return home\u2014to her role as wife and mother.<\/span><\/p>\n

She walked down the street with her head high, a faint smile playing on her lips.<\/span><\/p>\n
