I wanted to share with you tonight the most important day of the year. A few years ago today, Melina came into my life. A cheerful puppy that changed everything and taught me so much.
Every year on this day, a new toy and a beautiful treat await her when she wakes up in the morning. And after we take our walks, we celebrate by cutting the customary cake.
We take photos, we shoot videos, we sing “May you live, Melina, and many years.”
And even if the years pass, for me she will always be my little puppy. And always, as soon as she enters my arms, I will feel the same feelings of happiness and peace.
So, to Melina, for everything she offers me.
And to you, I wish that you feel the love of a dog and that you love as dogs love.
