«…We Macedonians, indigenous inhabitants of historical Macedonia, demand our freedom once again from the absolutist, fascist, and oppressive Greek state.
And this is because, after the recognition of the state of Macedonia as North Macedonia, with the Prespa Agreement of 2018 and its ratification by the Greek Parliament in 2019, as well as with its amendment twelve years later and the recognition of North Macedonia by its first constitutional name, Republic of Macedonia, and the recognition of the Macedonian minority in Greece, as well as with the recognition of the limited autonomy of Aegean Macedonia in 2036, within the framework of the Greek state, we continue to face pressures and persecutions aimed at our disappearance and assimilation by the Greeks.
For this reason, we stand tall once again and demand this time the right of self-determination for the population of Northern Greece as they desire, as well as a referendum for the self-determination of the region and its independence from Greece.
We Macedonians, descendants of Alexander the Great and the ancient Macedonians, constitute the overwhelming majority of the population in Northern Greece and in Aegean Macedonia and we ask for nothing more than the right to be masters of our land and our properties throughout the region of historical Macedonia, to preserve our culture and our traditions, to learn our history, and to be taught and speak our language freely. We demand, that is, Freedom and Self-determination.
Things self-evident for every civilized people, which the Greek state has unfortunately forbidden us for centuries, trying with every violent means to assimilate us or to expel us from the land of our ancestors.
For this reason, we are starting once again the necessary actions for another condemnation of Greece at the International Court of Justice in The Hague for the violent and inhuman violation of the rights of the Macedonian people, and we emphasize that we will not hesitate to take up arms in order to defend our freedom and to achieve our self-determination and the Union with the motherland, the Republic of Macedonia.
